Ilha de São João - A Ilha de São João é um conjunto habitacional e localiza-se no município de Simões Filho, no litoral do Estado da Bahia, no Brasil o Código de Endereçamento Postal oficial é 43700-000 geral de Simões Filho-Ba, pórem nos correios também há cadastro como 40800-095 referindo-se como sendo um bairro de Salvador-Ba. Antigamente o local era um sitio/fazenda de propriedade ignorada, uma das formas de se chegar ao local era por via férrea através de um lugarejo conhecido como Ponto de Parada, em anexo já existia o acesso ao Aratu Iate Clube, no local eram encontrados vários animais nativos da Mata Atlântica dos quais podem ser citados Sagui de Tufos Brancos (primata vulgarmente chamado de Mico), jiboias e periquitos.
